In a constantly changing European context, exposed to new challenges, young Europeans feel the necessity to understand the international dynamics and be active protagonists. The My Revolution 1968 project aims to provide young people from Italy, Slovenia, Austria and Poland, and mostly from disadvantaged social backgrounds, with tools to understand the European Union and its diversity, analysing the movements, protests and reforms that took place in 1968 to better understand the current realities. It also gives young people the opportunity to participate and create a transnational debate through online and face-to-face meetings between European participants and to interact directly with policy makers at the European Parliament in Brussels, where a Manifesto will be presented with the joint demands, thus contributing strengthening European citizenship and encouraging the democratic and civic participation of future leaders.
