"For 1 million Cambodians, crossing the border to Thailand represents an opportunity to improve, at least temporarily, their economic and social condition. The most simple and easiest way is through irregular migration. The testimonies of men and women that have returned home tell us of the brutal human and working conditions experienced on the other side of the border”.
HOMEWARD is a documentary film produced by GVC and EleNfant Film, carried out within the programme MIGRA-SAFE, that has the aim to fight the causes of human trafficking, sexual and labour exploitation and reconstitute migration as an opportunity for development, by being both safe and informed.
