Become a GVC Volunteer

In order to support GVC's activities in the countries from the south of the world, we need volunteers who want to give a small part of their time to our work, in Italy as well. Volunteers participate in GVC's activities for free, by offering their time, skills and resources.
Needed requisites are:
-sharing the same values and principles;
-free support given to the association;
-responsibility in assuming one's commitment
-team-working ability in compliance with the operative guidelines of the association.

Sensitivity towards the tragedy of poverty, willingness to work for free, deep motivation, rooted in an ethos, for which the respect for the Other is paramopunt, are the main traits we look for in volunteers.

GVC organizes guidance sessions, where the features of development cooperation are illustrated, alongise GVC's intervention methodologies and running projects.

Data are processed by GVC - data controller - Villa Aldini - Via dell'Osservanza 35/2 - 40136 BOLOGNA - to diffuse the newsletter requested monthly as well as to inform about initiatives, projects and activities implemented thanks to the contribution of our supporters. Data will be processed by using mainly electronic and telematic modalities as well as methodologies of statistical analysis, solely by our association and by officers in charge of carrying out the services related to the above. They will not be communicated or disseminated abroad and will be subject to adequate security procedures.
The category of officers who will process the data for the above-mentioned purpose are in charge of data registration, elaboration, modification, and deletion. They supply as well the required service and provide assistance to the user, in order to respond to specific questions. They are also in charge of managing the technologies and the necessary procedures to access the website and receive the newsletter.
According to the provisions of article N.7, of the D. Lgs. dated 30 June 2003, no. 196 of the Italian Law, a data owner shall have the right to consult, modify and erase his/her data or to object to their processing, in case of breach of the law, referring to GVC at the above-mentioned address or by email: gvc@gvc-italia.org
