The project aims to ensure access to basic Wash need for the most vulnerable people living under Israeli occupation, in Area C of the West Bank. It is a guarantee of a sustainable, accessible and affordable access to the water – for personal and domestic use. The project supports 70 communities not served or underserved in terms of access to water, through the provision of water distribution services.
Objectives

The project aims to improve economic and physical access to safe drinkable water for the most vulnerable and marginalized communities living in the Area C.

Activities
  • Water distribution to respond to water scarcity needs during three summer months;
  • Monitoring the quality of distributed water by frequent spot checks;
  • Developing capacities and providing technical support at local, regional and national levels to improve the capacities for the water access response;
  • Creation of institutional synergies and coordination activities on the different governmental levels, to improve the water access.
